Poppy Chair 1

Lake Country ArtWalk is cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the ArtWalk Committee created a Community Project in which they provided 30 - 45 Muskoka-style chairs to artists to turn into works of art. The chairs will be placed throughout the Okanagan Valley in groups of 3 -4 spaced 6' apart. I was happy for the opportunity to paint one of these chairs. Each chair has a positive message incorporated into the work. Mine says: "Peace is... always beautiful." ~ Walt Whitman.
