(For Saturday sessions bring a bag lunch). part 1: soft edges and negative painting in sunflowers part 2: texture in windows and doorways part 3: wash and value techniques for landscape (hills, sky, clouds) part 4: continuation of part 3 (trees, rocks, reflections) and wrap-up All materials included. More Advanced Watercolour
Watch demonstrations, practice expressive watercolour painting, and gain knowledge and experience in watercolour techniques that you can build on. Learn how to enlarge and use parts of photographs and reference material to create a drawing for painting. Learn how to apply liquid mask, paint the first washes, and add subsequent glazes. Please come with your own brushes, paints, and references of a subject that you are interested in painting. A suggested supply list will be sent to you prior to the class. Some materials will be supplied. A maximum of four people per session allows time for individual attention. Tea/ coffee and snack are provided each session.

Parent/Caregiver and Child Art Experience February 25 (Saturday afternoon) (ages toddler and up).

You and your child will produce “one of a kind” artworks to take home. Watch a demonstration and then have the freedom to experiment with the art materials provided.
A healthy refreshment will be provided.

30 May 2012 Okanagan Centre Art Show -- Birds of a Feather. Featuring the jewelry of Janet Stein and artwork of June Seed, Gwen Graham, Margaret Kyle, and Pippi VanLeardum. Paint a panel and help raise funds for Okanagan Centre Hall. Music and refreshments provided. Details to be announced. |
